My mum has gotten so much better at nurturing and expressing the love in recent years, which has in turn helped me talk openly about my own feelings and grow as a person. So, I'm still rooting for my dad, I know he's a good human at heart, a good human with a sad, misguided education on what it means to express love. Stories about people finding themselves, like the life stories you've shared here on Medium, help me see just how resilient love can be, under even the most trying of circumstances.
