Thank you so much for your time with this piece, as well as for your kind feedback.

It’s indeed true that empathy and compassion are quite different, however I’ve noticed they often meet — kind of like one of those Venn diagrams, differences but with a common intersection. To exercise empathy does often lead to becoming more compassionate. Or vice versa. Maybe I’m oversimplifying though, I will look into better clarity on this in the future. Thank you again for taking the time to debate with kindness, I live for this stuff.
